Towards the adaptation of the resilience concept to the
contemporary heritage
All the Courses in Blocks 1 and 2 are mandatory. In ARURCOHE only the Path in Master Dissertation (Block 3) is optional
Block 1: Approach and Knowledge
30 ECTS (Coordination ETSASS)
Location: Donostia-San Sebastián
Months 1-6

1.1.- The context of both the construction and the architectures of the 20th century (6 ECTS)
1.2.- Survey and digital modelling (6 ECTS)
1.3.- The scientific culture applied to the analysis of the 20th century built heritage (3 ECTS)
1.4.- Buildings and sites in the 20th century (3 ECTS)
1.5.- Inspection, diagnosis and repair of structures (6 ECTS)
1.6.- The building envelope: characterization, decay, solutions and colour analysis (6 ECTS)

Block 2: Design
30 ECTS (Coordination POLITO)
Location: Torino
Months 7-12

By ends of Block 2 the students can register a doctoral thesis project in the active Doctoral Programmes of the HEI depending national educational legislation. The Courses will be distributed combining Magistral and Practical methodology. For instance a 6 ECTS Course will be finished in 15 days (3 weeks). Each Block has a duration of 6 months in total, 5 months for Magistral and Practical tasks and 1 month to qualify the students.
